Firefield BattleTek Tactical Weapon Lights and Lasers Light ‘Em Up!
When things go bump in the night, Firefield has your six. Our new line of weapon lights and lasers are designed primarily for self-defense in low-light situations, yet, the versatility of the BattleTek design allows these lights and lasers to be utilized for training, nighttime hunting, competition and recreational target shooting not only on handguns but AR-15 and MSRs, as well.

When the stakes are high, and your adrenaline is pumping, there is no room for mistakes. These tools are invaluable in helping protect and save the lives of you and your family. Tactical gun lights and lasers help positively identify targets and provide quick, accurate aiming, especially in the dark.
Weapon-mounted lights, pistol laser sights and laser light combos are the most common and most popular accessories for self-defense handguns. Those with aging/poor eyesight and the casual gun owner who doesn’t practice or train regularly particularly benefit from lasers and lights because of the ease of use and quick target acquisition.
There are five different models of BattleTek sights to choose from—weapon light with integrated green laser and night-vision compatible IR, weapon light with an integrated green laser, weapon light only with no laser, green laser only with no light and red laser only with no light.
Every BattleTek light, laser and laser/light combo features:
- Compact, lightweight and durable glass-filled nylon construction
- Low-profile design
- Ambidextrous digital controls
- Continuous on or pulse/strobe modes
- Quick target identification and acquisition
- Adjustable for windage and elevation
- CR2 battery—exception is FF24014 which uses a CR123A battery
- Recoil-rated to withstand up to .308 Winchester
The Benefits of Handgun Lasers

Not only are both green and red lasers an invaluable self-defense tool for your gun, but they are also perfect training aids at the range as they act as a visible indication if you are jerking the trigger, anticipating recoil or have other inaccuracy issues.
Weapon-mounted units like the BattleTek are superior to gun-specific grip lasers or other styles, as they will mount to any Picatinny or Weaver rail—fitting a variety of handguns and AR-15s.

A weapon-mounted light versus a handheld keeps your hands free to control your firearm better, especially under duress. It is difficult to operate a handheld flashlight and your firearm at the same time. You need to be accurate and juggling the two takes a lot of training in techniques. A weapon-mounted light means you have less to carry. There are plenty of holsters to choose from that will accommodate your light. You may also use it to illuminate dark and potentially unsafe environments such as parking garages, hallways, alleys, etc.

Whichever unit you choose—either the green or red laser provides a positive and quicker target acquisition in low-light situations than your iron or even night sights. However, lasers should never replace your continued practice using your factory or aftermarket iron sights. After all, batteries die and even the highest quality electronics can fail.
